Vendor & Network Relationship Manager

About the Role
Our client, a global investment bank, is seeking a Vendor & Network Relationship Manager to support the oversight and management of key custody, clearing, and operational service providers across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Global Head of Network and Vendor Management, you will play a central role in ensuring that third-party relationships deliver value, reliability, and effective service for the organisation’s wholesale business. This role will require strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally, along with the ability to act as an escalation point and subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with external banking and vendor partners through regular engagement and effective communication.
- Serve as a knowledgeable escalation point to both internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution
- Lead and coordinate service review meetings with banks and vendors, setting clear agendas, tracking actions, and ensuring accountability
- Represent the organisation at relevant industry meetings and forums where appropriate
- Contribute to strategic projects such as RFP processes and fee benchmarking initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Support oversight of third-party arrangements, applying best practice in vendor engagement and agent bank management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the function effectively at internal and external forums.
- Excellent organisational abilities, including time management, prioritisation, and the capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across onshore and offshore teams.
- Previous experience in third-party/vendor management and/or banking partner oversight strongly advantageous.
- A broad understanding of financial markets and products (including fixed income, equities, FX, and OTC) would be beneficial.
