Transformation Migration Analyst – Loan IQ (VP Level)

Overview
Our client, a leading global financial services institution, is delivering a major transformation of its Wholesale Lending operations and systems. This role sits within the Operational Change and Transformation function, leading the migration of data and processes from the legacy lending platform (ACBS) to the new strategic platform (Loan IQ).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a migration pod to plan, manage and execute data migration and associated business change activities.
- Oversee test migrations, dry runs and go-live execution to ensure accurate, complete data transfer.
- Drive the reconciliation of pre- and post-migration data, identifying and resolving discrepancies to enhance data quality.
- Work closely with business users, technology teams, operations, and control functions to align requirements and processes.
- Create and maintain project artefacts including requirements documentation, process flows, test scripts, and sign-off materials.
- Support business readiness, ensuring appropriate training, communications, and operational support post-implementation.
- Identify and drive process optimisation and automation opportunities.
- Provide clear, professional communication to stakeholders at all levels, preparing materials for programme and governance meetings.
- Co-manage offshore migration activities and track deliverables across teams.
- Apply structured testing frameworks to validate system changes and ensure that all business scenarios are thoroughly tested.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
• Hands-on experience with the ACBS lending platform within a corporate or investment banking environment.
• Direct experience with Finastra Fusion Loan IQ, gained through operations or implementation projects (configuration, servicing, or syndicated lending).
• Strong understanding of corporate and institutional lending processes.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale data migrations or technology change initiatives.
• Excellent organisational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and present complex data.
Desirable:
• Experience of project delivery in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of loan servicing for term loans, revolvers, and other debt products.
• Prior experience in transformation or change management functions within financial services.
