Project Manager – GRC Platform Implementation (Decision Focus)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end implementation of Decision Focus’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platform. This role will drive delivery planning, stakeholder orchestration, vendor coordination, and execution across all project workstreams.
You will be responsible for ensuring the platform is configured, tested, governed, and deployed effectively, working closely with business teams across Risk, Compliance and Technology, as well as the Decision Focus vendor. This role requires strong delivery leadership with a practical, detail‑driven approach and familiarity with GRC, risk management or technology implementation environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end project planning, governance and delivery across all phases.
Manage requirements traceability, ensuring alignment between business needs, configuration, development and testing.
Oversee release planning, coordinating deployments across project environments.
Act as the primary liaison with Decision Focus and other external vendors, driving effective communication and change control.
Develop and manage UAT plans, including test scenarios, scripts, data preparation and defect management.
Coordinate configuration activities with internal and vendor teams.
Lead cutover and transition planning, ensuring operational readiness and smooth handover to BAU teams.
Build the project’s training and communication plan (delivery managed by business teams).
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, steering committees and decision forums.
Provide hands‑on delivery leadership, proactively resolving issues and maintaining momentum.
Candidate Profile
Proven ability to deliver complex GRC or technology platform implementations.
Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communicator with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving or ambiguous environments.
Hands-on mindset with strong ownership and delivery focus.
Experience working with vendors and third‑party delivery partners.
Adaptable, proactive and able to drive structure and clarity.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience implementing GRC platforms (Decision Focus preferred; Archer, ServiceNow, MetricStream or similar also valuable).
Strong background in project management methodologies (waterfall, agile or hybrid).
Understanding of risk, controls, audit or compliance processes.
Experience with system configuration concepts, testing cycles, and release processes.
Proven history of managing cutover, go‑live readiness and transition to BAU.
Professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) beneficial but not essential.
