Software Test Analyst (IDIT/Guidewire) – Insurance Transformation
Overview
We are supporting a leading insurance client on a large-scale core systems transformation and are looking to engage experienced Software Test Analysts with strong exposure to Guidewire or IDIT platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality and success of a major transformation programme, working across policy, claims, and billing systems in a modernised insurance landscape.
The role is based in London, with a hybrid working model, with occasional expensed travel to Europe.
The Role
As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing high-quality testing across multiple workstreams. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain test cases across Guidewire (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) or IDIT
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Support and contribute to test automation initiatives
Work closely with development and business teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in software testing within the insurance sector
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire or IDIT (essential)
Good understanding of insurance processes across Policy, Claims, and Billing
Experience across multiple testing phases (SIT, UAT, E2E)
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable
Experience in test automation
Knowledge of SQL and API testing
ISTQB certification
