Regulatory Reporting Analyst (2-4 years experience) - Belfast - starting Early August 2026
Your Role
We're hiring Regulatory Operations Analysts through our Elevate Programme in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 2-4 years of experience in operations, regulatory reporting, financial services, compliance, risk, data analysis, or a similar business environment who are looking to develop their careers within a structured and highly regulated operational function.
In this role, you'll support the delivery of Business As Usual (BAU) regulatory reporting activities across multiple regulatory regimes, including MiFID II, REMIT, EMIR, and SFTR. You'll work across reporting, reconciliations, investigations, management information, and process improvement activities, helping ensure that regulatory reporting remains accurate, complete, and compliant.

We are looking for professionals with 2-4 years of experience who have developed strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills within an operational, regulatory, compliance, financial services, or business support environment.

Essential Requirements
2-4 years of experience in an operations, regulatory reporting, compliance, risk, financial services, data analysis, or business support role.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing tasks, investigations, reconciliations, or operational processes to completion.

A proactive approach to learning, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Desirable Requirements
Experience within financial services, capital markets, banking, asset management, or regulatory operations.
Exposure to regulatory reporting regimes such as MiFID II, EMIR, REMIT, SFTR, or similar regulatory frameworks.
Experience conducting reconciliations, investigations, exception management, or control activities.
Experience producing management information (MI), reporting, or data analysis.
Experience working with reporting, workflow, case management, or data management systems.
Knowledge of financial markets and the role of regulatory reporting within a regulated environment.
Experience identifying process improvement or automation opportunities.
